If you’re interested in the long term plan for the Arcadia community and the city of Kalamazoo, then set aside a little time Thursday evening, February 16th, to attend an open house hosted by Imagine Kalamazoo on the WMU campus.
Imagine Kalamazoo is in the early stages of creating the long term city policies regarding land use, housing, regulations, and more. Twelve meetings are being organized throughout the City as part of Phase 3, the Design It phase of the process. These community meetings are part of a process that is expected to take about 18 months. It’s a pretty big deal that will affect all of us for a generation!
The open house will be held at Western Michigan University’s Office of Sustainability at 1903 West Michigan Avenue in Kalamazoo. it’s from 6 to 7:30pm and you’re welcome to pop in and out anytime during that window.
